UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California. POSITION SUMMARY: The RCM Senior Analyst position requires significant understanding of all aspects of the RCM department and provides analytic and operational coordination to the Revenue Cycle leadership team. This role assists in development, maintenance and dissemination of a number of RCM operations and productivity key performance indicators to multiple stakeholders within RCM, Finance and Operations. In addition, the position helps maintain key RCM data infrastructures including but not limited to provider, location, place of service, insurance, charge master and contract allowable profiles. Working with the RCM leadership team develops routine and ad hoc reports using a verity of analytic tools, primarily Excel. Conducts RCM audits and reports on staff quality. What you will be doing: Responsible for RCM Internal and External KPI reports related to RCM staff productivity and quality. Maintains dictionary profiles within RCM system including but not limited to charge master and contract allowable schedules. Develops charge master rates for new services in conformance with company policy. Develops and maintains system rules to reduce denials and decrease days in AR. What you will bring to the Team: Five or more years in RCM leadership positions as in collections, payment posting, RCM analytics, and contract performance. Thorough understanding of standard RCM code sets, including but not limited to CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers, ICD10, 835, 837, 270, 271, 276, 277 code sets. Thorough understanding of RCM work flows for coding, claim generation, clearinghouse workflow, payment posting, collections, and payer contract performance. Experience in procedurally oriented specialties like Urology, Gastroenterology, Pathology and Radiation Oncology strongly preferred.
