DESE Research, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Software Developer position. If you feel like you have the skills and qualifications for this job, please apply now! Job Details: The candidate will develop and maintain code for existing software tools, as well as utilize knowledge of new technologies to foster innovation. The candidate's responsibilities will include writing, testing, and debugging code both to improve and maintain existing software toolsets. A successful candidate will have the ability to be flexible working across a variety of projects. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile team environment. Essential Job Functions: Plans, designs, evaluates, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents the look and flow of browser-based web applications Develops user interface features using web-passed programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, etc. Work with REST API/GraphQL frameworks to connect large backend datasets with frontend functionality in a scalable and performance effective manner Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with CI polygraph Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or other relevant field Python development experience Experience with JavaScript/HTML/CSS web-framework technologies such as React, Vue, and NodeJS Desired Qualifications: Experience in full-stack software development Experience with frontend JS frameworks like React, Vue/Vuetify, MaterialUI, Cytoscape, etc. Experience with Machine Learning python libraries and AI algorithms (Kmeans, DecTree, Renosaur, AHP, MLP, BBN, etc) Experience with visualization libraries and UI focused design Experience with REST API/GraphQL Experience with MongoDB, ArangoDB, and/or other databases/graph databases Experience with automated/unit testing and debugging Experience with ETL work Experience with Apache Airflow/DAGs Experience with other tools, such as poetry, npm, yarn, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Detail oriented and possess a desire for quality Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and client-focused An ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance and the willingness to take/pass the CI Poly for SCI access *All applicants must be fully COVID-19 Vaccinated to be considered for employment at DESE Research, Inc.* Why employee's love working for DESE: At DESE, we are committed to creating a company that is known for its respect and care for employee's.
