Your Accountabilities: Leads and supervises the maintenance team with day-to-day activities that are assigned from the Maintenance manager, ensuring projects are completed in a safe, high-quality, and efficient way to meet production goals. Assists Technicians with more complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment within the facilities - including overhead cranes, electrical systems, as well as air and water lines, ensuring safe, timely resources or repair are complete to minimize downtime. Manages regularly scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance in a safe, high-quality, and efficient way, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Actively mentors, coaches, develops, and counsels employees so that they are continually growing in their skillsets and able to be accountable for their growing job functions. Responsible for manning sheet / coordinating where employees are needed, along with some scheduling of work orders to meet production demands. Assists the Maintenance Manager with daily tasks as needed. Position Requirements: Education: High School diploma with specialized training or coursework in Industrial Maintenance preferred Experience: 7+ years of maintenance experience within a Heavy Industry production environment; 2 years in a lead role; prior experience within a PLC Controls manufacturing environment are also needed. Functional Skills: Advanced knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, with a strength in electrical, PLC controls and robotics. Ability to work safely on high-voltage electrical circuits, along with forklift and overhead crane experience required; Working knowledge of safety requirements in the maintenance field is also important; Welding, plasma cutting, and torch experience preferred; Fundamental understanding of Arc Flash plant requirements. Ability to read prints and understand schematics is also required. The position also requires a solid problem-solver/decision maker; someone who pays close attention to detail and can plan, prioritize & utilize time efficiently. Solid understanding of ISO/Quality Systems, Safety, Lean thinking, and 5S preferred. Technology Aptitude/Skills: Good PC skills; experience with AutoCAD and ERP systems would be helpful Language Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills Other Important Information: Pay Programs: Pay is based on experience. Reports To: Maintenance Manager Core Hours: Afternoon Shift / 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm Typical Work Week: M-F; weekends required; 45+ hours a week on average. Direct Reports : 5 Work Environment/PPE: May be exposed to high heat areas, loud areas, welding debris, moving mechanical parts, sharp edges, wet surfaces, grease, oil, dust, fumes, or airborne particles. Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plug, and safety toed shoes required. Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, reach, stretch, kneel, squat, twist, push, pull, stand, sit, walk, stoop, crouch, climb and carry items frequently; climbing up to heights of 50 ft.; lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to work with high electrical voltage of up to 575 volts, safely and effectively We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
