Quantum has worked with a wide variety of clients, from the Von Braun Center to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, and our in-house sales, installation, and service team has overseen the installed of AV systems in over 800 Courtrooms in more than 30 states. Quantum also retains staff members dedicated solely to the religious market - with over 150 years of combined experience. Quantum Technologies is currently seeking a qualified candidate to provide support as a AV site leader tech/Installe r . This position is responsible for and in charge of all aspects of the preparation and installation of audio, video, and control systems and related site matters. Responsibilities: Site leaders need to be flexible and able to lead in on-site audio/video integration projects Essential duties include site management of the installation of speakers and cabling, soldering, crimping, and building racks, on-site scheduling and travel planning, and coordination of all on-site personnel issues Site leaders must maintain communications with superiors and co-workers at the corporate headquarters Responsible for shipping and receiving at the site location and generating system layout, inventory configuration, and packing lists, as well as interfacing with customers on a daily basis Site leaders are in charge of on-site training of field technicians and will conduct customer training and sell-off Leads must display a positive attitude exhibit strong teamwork skills, time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations, and the capacity to accommodate hard deadlines are valuable skills in site leaders Common physical demands include, among others, pulling wire and cable through conduit, lifting heavy loads, working on ladders and scaffolding, and operating in cramped quarters, such as under tables or in equipment closets Common work will be semi-complete renovation or construction sites, such as courtrooms, boardrooms, churches, etc. Extensive travel frequently exceeding 60% of time will be required Other duties as may be assigned Requirements: ***Extensive travel will be required to complete installations at project sites. Travel percentage (nationwide) is estimated at 60% or more. Other requirements may be assigned as travel and contract requirements change********* High school diploma or equivalent is required; AS in electronics or related field is desired and BS equivalent Technology field/AV, Electronics/ Engineering a PLUS!
