This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Construction/Maintenance Tech Annual Salary: Level I F41A: $36,619.70 + Full state benefits Level II F41B: $39,588.86 + Full state benefits Level III F41C: $43,987.62 + Full state benefits Travel is Extensive - Must possess a valid driver's license. Days worked will be Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Education and Experience: Level I: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years of experience in one or more of the building trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level II: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of four years of experience in one or more of the building trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level III: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of five years of experience in one or more of the building trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Responsibilities Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities related to the construction, maintenance, repair, or upkeep of buildings, grounds, or other state property, requiring no license. This may include assisting in the construction or renovation of buildings, general maintenance and upkeep of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical and other systems, minor repairs to machinery or other equipment, and general maintenance of grounds or lawns. Complexity of Skills and Abilities: Some duties may require that applicants be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with the position. Some duties may require performing moderately heavy lifting or other manual tasks. Good manual dexterity and physical endurance include lifting 80 pounds frequently, climbing ladders, scaffolding, etc.; working in high spaces, high noise areas, and/or confined spaces; and withstanding temperature extremes. Knowledge of methods, tools, and materials used in the assigned trade and in commercial building maintenance and repair; Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures; codes and regulations applicable to the specialty system and building maintenance in general; Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations governing the assigned skill trade profession Ability to operate computer systems used in building system diagnosis; This position is safety sensitive as defined by 63 O.S. § 427.8.
