Principal Software Engineer - Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Principal Software Engineer -for a contract position in Round Rock/Richardson, TX The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: Join us as an IT Principal Software Engineer on our DevSecOps Engineering team in [Austin/Dallas/Hopkinton] to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: As a Full Stack Developer in the DevSecOps space, you will be a part of a team in a very fast paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgement and creative thinking. Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment Follow Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) standards and practices. Leverage AI capabilities to build AI models and Engines. Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software Qualifications: Strong programming background with mastery skills in at least one programming language and like Java, .NET, Go or Python (preferred) and databases (MS SQL or Postgres preferred) Advanced knowledge of MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, Micro Services and application development. Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue Strong understanding of object-oriented programming & popular design patterns Experience with Cloud Native Container platforms like Kubernetes, PCF/TAS etc. 10+ years of software development experience including 3+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps in a professional role with a bachelor's degree Understanding of AI capabilities like LLM's, Generative AI and knowledge of Embeddings & vector similarities.
