Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Program Team Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the CLINICAL PRACTICE NURSE - REGISTERED NURSE (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) The successful candidate will be required to enroll in the Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course The successful applicant must complete a pre-study program and successfully complete an exam on the basis of the pre-study program Continued employment in this position is conditional upon successful completion of the above program The Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course is a full-time nine-week training program with a period of theory, labs and clinical experience followed by 1008 hours.
