Job Quick Facts:--- Specialty: Hematology/Oncology --- Job Type: Locum Tenens --- Facility Location: Red Bluff, CA --- Service Setting: Outpatient --- Reason For Coverage: Supplemental --- Coverage Period: Jul 15 - Aug 11, 2024 --- Coverage Type: Clinical + Call --- Shift Schedule: Mon-Thu; 7a-530p --- Call Schedule: Weeknights & 24-hr Weekend calls (Fri-Sun) --- Call Volume: 5 calls per day --- Call Type: Remote by phone only --- Patient Volume: Ave. of 15-21 per day - Mon-Thu shared between MD & NP with 3/4 of appointments going on MD sched. --- Support Staff: - 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing and 3 infusions RNs. --- Duties: - All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. - Oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic & Infusion Services (Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments) Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections and Therapeutic Phlebotomies. --- EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion Center) --- Other Info: - Provider is not called back in, only remotely called. - Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to outside provider. --- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
