The successful candidate will handle agency responses, employment litigation, draft employment-related agreements, and employee handbook policies, as well as provide employment advice to employers.Duties:Responding to agency inquiries and complaints related to employment mattersHandling employment litigation cases from inception to resolutionDrafting and reviewing employment-related agreements, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and severance agreementsDeveloping and implementing employee handbook policies in compliance with relevant laws and regulationsProviding timely and practical employment advice to employers on various matters, including hiring, termination, discrimination, harassment, and compliance issuesRequirements:3-6 years of experience practicing employment lawExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectivelyEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-Accredited Law SchoolCertifications:Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdictionAbility to promptly obtain admission to the State of Iowa BarSkills:Proficiency in legal research and writingKnowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulationsExperience with litigation procedures and strategiesFamiliarity with employment-related agreements and policiesAbility to provide practical and strategic legal advice to clients With offices in the US, Mexico and China, this business law firm was established in the late 1940s.
