Next look for the search field that allows you to enter a job number, enter, 241222, this will let you review the job description and apply Job Description--- Provides position design consultation, position classification, exemption status designation, and compensation analyses. Serves as a subject matter expert and conducts all responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Duties: Analyzes new positions and reclassification requests to appropriately determine job classification and exemption status. Develops position descriptions and complete job roles in collaboration with departments. Research and compiles data and makes recommendations to departments.Advises on basic inquiries regarding academic job titles and codes. Advises on temporary staffing regarding title options and salary.Conducts and participates in compensation surveys or special compensation studies for external benchmarking.Creates and maintains standard compensation reports, ad hoc reports and queries. Makes recommendations regarding base salary levels, position hiring ranges, supplemental payments and appropriate grade assignment.Maintains PeopleSoft Foundation Tables including, new titles, job codes, salary plans and position description updates.Interprets university policies and procedures, Federal and State laws and advises on compliance regarding a variety of compensation issues.Conducts compensation related presentations as needed.Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.Job Requirements--- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, AND: 36 months compensation experienceSkills: Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlinesAdvanced knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act regulationsStrong customer service orientationAbility to read and interpret policyAbility to perform data analysisComposition and proofreading skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Certifications: NoneAdvertised Physical Requirements: Sit for prolonged periods.Use of computer and telephone.Ability to engage in repetitive motions.Standard Office Environment.Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods.Requires contact with other departments and university officials.Departmental Preferences: Ability to write job descriptionsContract and grant knowledgeService Contract Act (SCA) knowledgeFamiliarity with Peoplesoft or similar HRIS systemsSpecial Instructions: If you are selected as a final candidate for this position, you will be subject to The University of Oklahoma Norman Campus Tuberculosis Testing policy.
