Field Service Engineer-NDT Specialist Do you have a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving? In this visible position, the successful Field Service Engineer will provide phone support and travel to national and international locations to diagnose, repair, test, and troubleshoot complex machines and instrumentation. If you love a hands-on environment where you will solve complex problems integral to ensuring the integrity of steel for essential business, you should read on! Responsibilities - Field Service Engineer Actively diagnose, repair, and test complex machines and instrumentation. Commission intricate motion systems and ensure equipment integrity. Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, and replace worn parts. Install repaired equipment and replace parts at customer sites including industrial and military facilities. Qualifications/Requirements for Field Service Engineer 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and building robotic systems and machines; familiarity with troubleshooting motors, motion control devices, and amplifiers. Bachelors’ degree – engineering preferred (comparable experience will be considered in lieu of an engineering degree). Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. Experience with a variety of testing and measurement instruments. Familiarity with motion control devices, motors, and amplifiers.
