The ideal candidate will also possess experience in renewables, a strong academic record, and excellent written and oral communication skills.Duties:Conduct legal research and provide analysis on real estate transactions.Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to commercial real estate.Assist clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing processes.Negotiate and facilitate real estate transactions on behalf of clients.Provide legal advice and counsel on real estate matters.Handle due diligence and title examination.Attend and represent clients in real estate closings and transactions.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in real estate matters.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Ohio State Bar Association or eligibility for immediate admission.Minimum of 3 years of transactional experience in commercial real estate.Experience in renewables is highly desirable.Strong academic record with a focus on real estate law.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Certifications:Active membership in the Ohio State Bar Association or eligibility for immediate admission.Skills:Proficient in legal research and analysis.Strong drafting and contract review skills.Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.Legal software proficiency for document management and research. This large full-service firm has offices throughout Ohio and other states along the Eastern seaboard. Associates can expect ongoing training at the departmental level and a strong, viable mentoring program, along with quick responsibilities and client contact. It is not unusual for first- and second-year litigators to take and defend depositions. The firm culture is very collegial and informal, and associates seem more cooperative than competitive. Compensation is competitive with that of other major firms in comparable metropolitan areas. In addition, associates are eligible to participate in the firm's profit-sharing plan after they complete two years of eligibility service with the firm. A recent infusion of capital and attorneys has caused substantial growth and promises future expansion.
