As a Material Handler in our warehouse, you will play a vital role in the satisfaction of our customers by moving freight, stock, or other materials for our commercial door and service customers. LockNet will forklift certify and provide in-house training on company products and procedures. Responsibilities Receiving and stocking of material. Quickly and accurately inspecting inbound material. Maintaining accurate inventory counts. Proper organization of shelf & bin locations. Assisting with all activities involving Material/Inventory Control. Closely coordinating and working with the Returned Goods and Shipping Departments. Adhering to all safety policies. Specific duties include: Labeling product accurately. Stocking products and materials. Space utilization through organizing stocked inventory and any overflow. Maintaining accurate inventory and cycle count records. Performing other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications At least 6 months of experience in a similar relevant role Experience loading and unloading material with a forklift preferred, but not required Ability to read and use measuring tools General computer skills preferred, specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills Physical requirements: Regularly required to talk or hear. Constantly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Constantly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, including overhead. Regularly required to use close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly required to operate a forklift for the movement of heavy and oblong inventory within the warehouse. What Sets LockNet Apart as an Employer?
