The expectation is that this position would be primarily in-office or at our other business locations at least 3 days per week with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week. Position will require annual travel up to 50%. Position Summary: This Sr. Product Manager position is responsible to working with the Product Management team on a range of important activities related to the VERSATEX Exteriors siding segment.The Product Management team at The AZEK Company is ultimately responsible for the financial results of the product lines and must ensure that we are meeting the goals of the company. The Team manages the lifecycle of the product categories, from the creation and execution of the overall product strategy to the day-to-day management of the product lines.The ideal candidate will be passionate about competing in this category, dedicated to the success of the team and will be highly organized, focused and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct on-going market analysis, competitive analysis and customer research which is the basis for the overall product and pricing strategy. Develop and execute current and future VERSATEX Exteriors siding and trim new product launches, rationalization, etc. and creation of overall 3-5 year sding portfolio road map Drive coordination through all departments including Plant Operations, Finance, R&D, Etc. Act as Project Manager for the new product development process from concept through design, development and launch using a formal Stage-Gate process. Help to develop (and occasionally deliver) training programs to be used to educate the sales team, distributors, dealers and contractors on the features, benefits, and applications of our products. Partners with the Product Marketing team to update all sales, marketing and technical collateral including product literature, sample materials, displays, sales presentations and collateral, product databases, installation guides and installation videos, technical data sheets, Safety Data Sheets and AIA presentations. Works with our Technical Services and Installation/Applications teams to develop and conduct product qualification testing, installation, and other field tests and of new and existing products. Conduct regular analysis of product line performance (sales trends, regional and geographic customer analysis, revenue, margin, and other basic financial and performance metrics) to help the team understand the business and guide short and long-term action plans. Manage current portfolio for SKU improvement, accuracy, rationalization, etc. Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned. Position Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA a plus. Experience : 5+ years' experience in Product Management or a related field in a similar position and showing demonstrated success. Building Product experience preferred Computer Skills: Strong computer skills including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and ad-hoc reporting tools; Experience with ERP software and data visualization tools is a plus. Success Measures: Ninety (90) days: Learn/Meet AZEK Functional Experts Takeover Current Projects with Guidance Visit manufacturing facilities and key customers Six (6) Months: Become Leader with Current Projects Start other projects in the pipeline Travelling as necessary for exteriors business One (1) year: Takeover all of exteriors and seen as expert.
