The ideal candidate will be adept at negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions. Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing is preferred. Strong writing and analytical skills and previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm setting are essential.Duties:Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.Provide legal counsel on leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing matters.Conduct legal research and analysis related to debt finance issues.Draft legal documents, including loan agreements, security, and other transactional documents.Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters.Requirements:3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate debt finance.Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing preferred.Excellent writing and analytical skills.Previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (law school classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).DC Bar admission.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the DC Bar.Skills:Strong negotiation skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents.Ability to conduct thorough legal research.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
