Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinist in Indianapolis, INAs a CNC Machinist you willResponsibilities: * Assemble and/or repair various parts, mechanisms, tools, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies or machines, applying knowledge of machining practices, mechanics, shop mathematics and metal properties. * Interpret required documentation such as blueprints, sketches, specifications, CNC programs, detailed routings and capable of following detailed instructions either written or oral. * Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications by inspecting dimensions and requirements using calibrated measuring instruments.Requirements: * Previous experience setting up and operating various Manual and/or CNC machine tools, including vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, grinders, presses and other shop equipment with minimal guidance or training * Must possess knowledge in the machinability of ferrous and non-ferrous materials as well as plastics, fiber and rubber materials and have a good working knowledge of various types of cutting tool including the ability to determine the correct speeds and feeds. * Must be capable of holding close tolerances and fine micro finishes and must consistently produce parts within the established quality and cost parameters.Duration: 9 + MonthsLocation: Indianapolis, INPay Range: $21 to $26 Per hour.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
