HILLS MACHINERY HAS DIESEL MECHANIC POSITIONS AVAILABLE CHARLOTTE, NC - COLUMBIA, SC Our Mechanics Deserve the Best Benefits Benefits: Mechanics average $45k - $95k per year based on experience and level $23 - $45 per hour based on experience and level 401K with company match Biweekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered as well as short-term & long-term disability 5 days of PTO granted upon hire and 15 days provided after 1 year Boot allowance Uniforms provided Requirements Must have 2 years of experience and/or technical training Must have your own tools Must possess strong mechanical skills, good communication skills, and good, safe work habits Have a good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions on wheel loaders, excavators, bulldozers, crushers, screeners, pavers, roller compactors, skid steer loaders, and backhoe loaders Strong diagnostic skills with electrical, hydraulics, and powertrains preferred Able to perform repairs for all major equipment systems About Hills Machinery Started in 2007, Hills Machinery is owned by brothers, Adam and Jim Hills and operated by a dedicated team of heavy equipment industry professionals.
